We are both proud to be involved in the Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis, the premier event put on by Crohn’s and Colitis Canada to help generate awareness of and raise funds towards a cure for this painful and disruptive disease. 

Crohn’s and Colitis is becoming an issue for more and more Canadians, with 1 in 150 people in this country being diagnosed with this disease, one of the highest rates in the world. More and more young people are being afflicted with this condition as well, with the rate of children under ten years old being diagnosed with it having doubled since 1995. Families that are new to Canada are also experiencing Crohn’s and Colitis at a very high rate, often in the first generation they are here.

Please help us to contribute to the fight against Crohn’s and Colitis and assist us and over 23,000 walkers across Canada in working to stop the multiple surgeries, pain, and missed moments in the lives of those who come down with this disease. The Gutsy Walk takes place at The Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex in LaSalle, ON at 2121 Laurier Parkway on Sunday, June 4th 2017. This great 5k walk will also feature food, entertainment, and more. We are proud to have donated to the decorations and free face painting at the event, and hope that everybody can come out to support this wonderful cause.
